Our Approach

Wharton's Jelly

The importance of protecting what’s important.

In the emerging field of regenerative medicine, Predictive is setting the bar high for processing protocol. The power of our products is in their functionality, but just like all harvested tissue, that functionality can diminish without proper handling. That’s why we process all of our tissues in our FDA-registered lab utilizing proprietary methods that reduce the loss of important scaffolding proteins, growth factors, cytokines, and other properties. It’s about minimally processing tissue to preserve and share what matters so we can maximize its potential.

The Future of Regenerative Medicine

Predictive Biotech is committed to bringing birth tissue products to clinical research through IND Applications, and University and physician collaborations. Predictive Biotech’s Research and Development team is currently focused on using products derived from Wharton’s Jelly of the umbilical cord in the treatment of osteoarthritis and other orthopedic maladies.

Finding better ways to better repair, replace and restore.

By thoroughly understanding the building blocks at work within the human body, Predictive is able to pinpoint specific tissue sources we believe are best suited for regenerative medicine. Our products are intentionally derived from two tissue sources: the umbilical cord as well as placental tissue. These rich, potent tissue sources are uniquely able to help cover, protect, cushion, and support injured parts of the body as well as aid the optimal regenerative environment. This suite of products derived from the Wharton's Jelly layer of the umbilical cord is currently the subject of an IND application for the treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee, thus leading the field.

Predictive Biotech: Wharton's Jelly Presentation

Wharton's Jelly
Presented by: Dr. Doug Schmid and Arthur Han

Predictive Biotech’s Wharton’s Jelly human cell and tissue product (HCT/P), WJ Flow™ (Wharton’s Jelly Flow), is derived from donated, full-term birth tissue. WJ Flow is primarily comprised of epithelial cells, endothelial cells, perivascular cells, mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs), cytokines, growth factors, exosomes, and scaffolding proteins.

Predictive Biotech: Wound Healing Assay

Wound Healing Assay
Presented by: Beatrice Uscanga and Arthur Han

Regenerative medicine is an incredibly exciting area of healthcare that has the potential to revolutionize the approach to healing. Our in house wound assay adds to our growing library of scientific understanding of human cell and tissue products derived from birthing tissues.

Predictive Biotech: Intro to Flow Cytometry

Introduction to Flow Cytometry
Presented by: Brennan Winkler and Arthur Han

Flow Cytometry is an important tool that is utilized to characterize the contents of our products and to help reduce variation from one lot to the next. Join us as we discuss the science behind the technology.
